Hamilton Moses.Colter Hamilton (Ham) Moses (1888-1966) graduated from the University of Arkansas Law Department in Little Rock (Pulaski County), which became the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 1911. He held degrees from several universities. He was a secretary to several Arkansas governors from 1909 through 1919, and later became general counsel, president, and chairman of the board of Arkansas Power and Light (AP&L). Moses represented the Governor’s Office promoting Arkansas. He moved Arkansas from an agricultural economy to an industrial one during the post-World War II years.
